Katie, I think you should recommend the guys at Foul Territory to get Bernie on the main show, if on a Cardinal topic, if you are too busy. Bernie can layout the stats like no one else....

Brown has me beyond impressed. Walker looks like a new hitter, the whole team approach is much improved.

    Great episode, thanks you two!
3 things I did NOT have on my Bingo card for this weekend:
    1) Series win v. Phillies. Like Bernie said, they haven't done it since 2017, I saw no reason this would go any different.
    2) Libby dominating the Phillies lineup. Whoa! I LIKE this guy!
    3) Pedro Pages debut at 2B. 😂 I'm with Bernie. Gotta give Oli tons of credit here for having the cajunes to try that! Hell, he even made 2 plays! I loved it!

So far, fingers crossed, this clarity on where Libby stands with his role, has been good. Outside of a couple rough innings, I think he’s been solid. I’d argue I’m more confident when he or Pallante is on the mound than Mikolas. I think Mikolas needs to figure something out similar to what waino did his last couple weeks

Libby's slider is filthy. He threw more changeup yeasterday than I've seen his whole career yesterday as well. It didn't look good but was fairly effective. I still don't understand why he doesn't throw the hook more, but his fastball/slider/cutter combo is very good.

I like Libby a lot and think he has the potential to be a good 3 starter. His slider is really good and has changed things for him.....but we gotta slow down. He's shown flashes of brilliance as a starter before. Let the season play out and see where he ends up.

It’s amazing how when the starters can go 6 innings and all the sudden the bullpen gets better.

The short stop situation is handled. Donovan, Seggesse, Gorman, Pages have the middle infield covered. No More Crawford situation. Victor Scott II, Walker, Noot. Siani are fine in the outfield. Stl has the option of leading off Scott II, and batting Walker 2nd and move Noot down the order. Scott II has good power and can bunt. Catching seems to be handled, In fact Crooks is killing the ball in Memphis.

Gorman looks so good in his limited at bats. Even his outs are good swings. So happy he came back so quickly. Play him over Burleson! I like Burly but he has almost no upside with zero discipline(credit on the big walk Friday), terrible speed and no defense.

Well, it looks like we have 3 decent to good pitchers; Gray, Pallante, and Liberatore.. I'm not yet sure about Fedde. And about Miles, I guess he's trying(I'm being kind).. the best of luck to him and all the pitchers. the cardinals need consistent pitchers. we'll see what happens!

In 7 years Mikolas is 60-60 as a Cardinal. Yes he didn’t get much run support and the umpire had a strange zone, but since the extension he’s been terrible. Bernie was being kind saying the stats are the stats, however, I’d like to see Mikolas on the “IL” with “soft tissue issues” in favor of a young arm. I would rather the Cardinals trot out young guys and let them learn then watch Mikolas being paid $17 million to throw meatballs every 5th day.
