The Winton tourism site claims the town is named after a local mail carrier but isn't it more likely to be named after William Henry Corfield (politician), the local member of parliament, a prominent local businessman and agitator for the rail line on which the town is located? -- Mattinbgn (talk) 04:40, 22 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
