United Supermarket (Canada)

United Supermarket is a Canadian Asian grocery chain operating in Ontario. The company is privately owned and operated by Joanna Jiang. It specializes in a wide range of Asian food products including fresh produce, seafood, meat, dry goods, snacks, and household items catering to diverse communities in the province. The stores cater to a variety of Asian communities, including Chinese, Filipino, Korean, Vietnamese, and South Asian populations.

History

United Supermarket has been a part of the Canadian supermarket industry for over 16 years. Originally established with locations in London and Newmarket, the chain has built a reputation for offering authentic Asian products and competitive pricing.

In January 2025, United Supermarket expanded to a new location in Oakville, Ontario. This store was previously operated under the Famijoy banner before being rebranded as United Supermarket. The rebranding marked the return of the grocery store to the area, bringing back many of its popular products and services under new management.
