Hello, you mention that you will make one more video with other way of looping on ableton push, can you share link in description or answer for my comment please?
Thank you so much for the video. My problem has solved by itself but it might had to with the preferences. Anyways, I learned so much in your video :) The looper feature is nice You are great
Hi, very interesting! But is the Push2 necessary, i ask myself. Since i didnt see the display, i m not sure if push2 is worth it for looping. Does it give the possibility to see many looper plugins at the same time? That would be awesome, since with normal ableton usage i only see ONE looper plugin at a time (which is a downgrade compared to hardware loopers like RC 505). So would you say the display has value for looping live? Otherwise i could just go with a launchpad pro or other controllers.
Can you set a clip to record a certain length? so you dont have to hit the button to start/stop recording? Im a drummer. it would be great to have the recording stop at a bar,2,4, or whatever. A midi pedal for starting would be easy to click to start, but ending the record with a pedal would be a bit more difficult. Hands free looping?
Yes it is possible. Hold down ’fixed lenght’ and that allows to set the sample lenght. Then you can add a pedal to the back of push 2, to the no 2. There is more info on Push here: ruclips.net/p/PL9oiyAGA6zOQBGEwz7kFRA4S6fYf69c-0
great tutorial. You prob already know this but you can double press your record button and it stops the clip. Saves you some room for more midi activities :::)
I love these videos! Keep up the good work! I'm a push user myself and I've watched your videos many times for tips. Do you have somewhere I can listen to your music?
I am so glad to hear and thank you for your support! I haven’t published any new music for long time, but I am working on some new material. Here is my Spotify link: open.spotify.com/artist/5T9EShAVtAyzeI1n6SQL83?si=jVkpH7JnT8OqebeYkjE1YQ

The bit about setting Global to 1/32 is great, I will try that! I think your reply to another comment about Fixed Length and adding a pedal will help me with my issue, but what is irking me (because I feel like it should be easy and that I'm overlooking something super simple) is this: how can I build drum loops on the fly in a live setting if I need to be in Session View to trigger the clip I want to record in and out but need to be over in Note View to play the actual drum rack? Does this make sense? Thanks for the great video, just Subscribed! :)
Hi! Glad that helped! Yes that’s a tricky one and there is couple answers: 1. You just need yo go between the two views. Launch first and then go to notw view to create drums. 2. Add the samples you want to trigger (before drums) to a drum rack, so you don’t need to swap between views when performing. Then launch them from the drum rack whilst creating beats from the same drum rack with step sequencer. I think I talk about it in this video: ruclips.net/video/FEybReM_RFs/видео.html hope I answered the guestion :)
@@LNADoesAudioStuff Cool I'll check that out for sure. The more I think about it, the more I think Fixed Length is going to help me get that nice even initial loop to build on. (I keep forgetting about Fixed Length :P ) But another thing I think I was missing is that the main Record button at the bottom left if the Push, I've been associating that with only Arrangement Recording for some reason... Ableton's video on the Push 1 that I just found made me realize that this Record button will start recording clips on any Record Enabled tracks over in the Session View, yes? If this is true, I think this will provide a solution as well. Thanks for such a quick response!
hah lots of sense. The sense is making art you like and using the tools you like and feel inspired about. There is no wrong or right way to be creative!

Looping from "start to beginning" (I love that!). Great tutorial! Thank you 😀
Glad you liked it! :)
i was dying for a video like this , simple and easy without many complicated words and explanations
thanks
Happy you liked it! Have a look at my Push 2 titorial playlist and let me know if there is any other subjects you would like to know about :)
Thank you so much! This helps me a lot! I borrowed the push 2 controller and wanted to start immediatly!!! 💛
So glad it helped and happy Push 2 learning! It’s so great! ❤️ Check out my playlist on it!
how do you do overdubs using the first method? (without using another track)
if you had made 3 or 4(or more loops) is it possible to remove the second loop or a selection of specific loops?
Quantization (Kwan-ti-say-shon)
Great video 👏👏👏
Thanks! 😊
Great video! Much appreciated! :-)
Glad you liked it :)
Fast and concise! Thank you!

It's basically Ableton Live in a physical form. so if you want full control over your DAW it's super useful :)
Thank you
You're welcome :)
thx for being so generous, LNA
Thanks for watching ❤️

The Music Compass yes that’s true. Press that, start playing in note view and you have created a loop in session view :)

You buy very expensive tool just to use the free plugin called looper and mapping with the expensive stuff… there is no sense

not a useful video
Why not?
