Even though i dont believe i have irish ancestry, i feel nostolgic when i imagine my european ancestors leaving their homeland, leaving knowing they wont return but keeping the hope that they might see their land once again. Its an obligation for every european american to visit the land of his ancestors , as his ancestors wished they could.

Sean is a wonderful singer,,he makes it look so easy.Paul Brady is another great Irish singer with this special quality.Nic Jones & Martyn Wyndham- Read as English singers have this special sound,but hey wherever they are from all singers deserve praise.

Hi Brendan, the pub in the picture is Connolly's on the quay in Kinvara, Co. Galway, Ireland. Not sure its where the recording is taking place but I'd imagine it is - a well known music pub!
