@VKDOOM ayaaaaatu you talk about initiative in combat, oh but clarify a little daddy that with the previous text it seems that you are very traumatized because someone had hurt you, if it is true okarun has no initiative in combat and it is because the man has never fought in his life and does not know how either, he literally says it in chapter 7, ayase on the other hand does have experience since her grandmother teaches her to defend herself and to fight since she was little, but it is a mutual support because ayase is more like a support without damage, the two complement each other and help each other, stop seeing them as if okarun were just her tool, little traumatized

None of these characters have ever fought demons in their life, theyre fucking high school kids. And yet Momo is a brilliant tactician who can single handedly carry these fights as we saw in this episode. Talking about whats "realistic" is laughable when this show is obviously complete fiction and meant to be ridiculous. So that is a poor excuse to defend Okarun being so useless unless he is literally a tool for Momo and Aira.

And the show wants me to see Okarun as her tool. She literally controls his ability and rides him like a motorcycle or a boat which is the literal visual significance of those actions in the episodes. Okarun has never once done a single thing to depict he is capable of anything more. He is literally her tool and is completely useless otherwise. Saying they complement each other means about as much as saying me and my vacuum cleaner complement each other when I clean my room.

This has nothing to do with being "hurt". Do you call every woman who has ever criticized the "damsel in distress" character trope hurt? It is femcel character writing because Momo gets to be badass and hot and has a man she can control in every way and also be rude to as much as she wants and he just comes running back to her like a lost puppy. This is a midandrist female fantasy in every way that literally laughs at the idea of masculinity considering the most major plot points of this show have revolved around Okarun being borderline molested for humor and literally having lost his genitalia.

@YohanNext17 You seem obsessed about who hurt me which is a laughable take. Like this is just objectively bad character writing. Even the outdated "damsel in distress" trope characters had more integrity and self respect than Okarun did. This show just hates men.

This show is hilarious, one of those that you'll truly miss when it's gone.

@xBaldur_ FireForce? What, ive heard about the anime, was interested, but i have so much going on and so many tv shows/anime on the list, FireForce went behind (i know there will be a new season). But nuns for the ED? Let me guess, that is the main woman casting as nuns right? Shame, it looks so good, i thought it was a Anime about that, was very interested haha. Thank you for answering.

@Viriathus The show has a heavy religious theme, it's one of the core parts of the story, hence why nuns are in the ending lol. Yeah one of the main girls is in this ending and it sort of focuses on her back story. I would recommend giving it a watch, ED2 has a similar art style which is really cool. I haven't read the manga so I am looking forward to S3. No problem, happy to answer haha.

@VKDOOM man writing and reading this well I can't think of anything else but that, maybe I do it because I already read the manga and the development that they give to the characters is spectacular but I still don't understand the thing about hating men.
1.- okarun and ayase meet this man didn't have any friends, male or female, anme itself explains to you that's why okarun totally seeks to get momo's attention because he saw the opportunity to make a friend.
2.- she insults him saying that he's a geek and that's why he doesn't have any friends and from there it was ayase who asked for forgiveness, okarun didn't say anything else to her after she insulted him. I mean, from here your argument that Okarun is a bitch who always goes after Ayase breaks down, but let's continue. 3.- In chapter two, there is more interaction between them and we see how they connect well as friends. We can see how Okarun always tries to calm down the people around him (another reason why he doesn't have friends) and he always pushes Ayase away saying that they are from different worlds. I mean another reason with which to break your dog argument
4.- At first this one depends a lot on Ayase, even I find it a little uncomfortable that he's a bit of a princess
5.- Episode three doesn't add much to the connection between the two so not much to say
6.- Episode 4 is the fight against turbo granny, here we see at the beginning of the fight that these two helped each other (at the beginning) after that Ayase uses him as a wheelbarrow and ps she always has the initiative in the fights (for now)
7.- Another reason to say that Okarn is not Ayase's dog is chapter 5 where we see more interaction between them, we see that they both want to talk about each other's tastes but every time they try they can't because they are in different places, at the end the kiss happens and they end up fighting and telling each other that they don't want to talk again and Okarun doesn't end up looking for her to ask for forgiveness, he looks for her because of the problem with his balls after that Ayase rejects him, he doesn't look for her anymore and only Ayase finds him with Aira and decides to protect him, that is, here the one who tries to fix things is not Okarun but Momo.

and the truth is I don't want to continue because I repeat it to you Okarun is not a bitch and the anime doesn't hate men, I don't know where you got that from, seriously if you watch the manga your perspective might change a little because Okarun already has more initiative in fights and doesn't depend on Momo

The reason I say the show hates men is because the only prevalent male characters we have seen so far are Okarun (a total bitch) and the piece of shit ex bf of Momo. There isn’t one man worth respect in this whole show. Whereas, plenty of women in this show are badass and awesome. Even as far as the villains go, the male aliens are absolute rapey creeps while turbo granny and the silky demon are far more nuanced. It’s clearly femcel writing to present all men as this.

Now as for your episodic breakdown, yes Okarun is desperate for her initially because he wants a friend. This very nature to present him as this kind of person already makes him a bitch but it can be handled well if there is something to the angle behind his motives beyond just being a lost loser puppy. Unfortunately that is all he actually is. As far as episode 2 goes, I’d argue that to be insulted like that from someone you just met is enough to cut things off. Also Okarun still apologizes to her for putting her in danger even though it was a mutual decision. Momos “apology” is half baked at best and sets the stage to only further treat him like shit and get away with it.

Yes they occasionally land a coordinated attack (even though Momo is always the one taking initiative and planning things since she literally can control Okaruns ability). But she mostly just ends up using him as a mode of transport since without Momo, Okarun is a pathetic little shit getting dropped and borderline molested by every villain encounter.

Also for that other dispute in ep 7, Momo never apologizes to Okarun for being a bitch. She just saves him from “humiliation” and the whole thing is positioned moreso as her shaming Aira rather than her actually being apologetic to Okarun. You also do skip over how even though he lost his balls and went to talk to her about it, he still ends up apologizing to Momo in front of everyone and saying he’s the problem even though she was totally at fault for everything. So no, it wasn’t just to talk about his lost balls. The show literally makes sure to erase any masculinity there could ever possibly be to show a man without his balls apologizing and saying he has no friends and that his abusive female friend deserves better than him all in front of her and her friends.

This is easily the most femcel show ever made
